See, this is exactly the kind of thing that happens when there's no order, no planning. Hitler and Martha Stewart would've hated that wedding.

So, it's been a while.  And rather than attempt to recap everything that's happened since the last time we blogged, we're just going to kick this new era of blogging off with the really important stuff.
To start with, we went ahead and got married.

BINDING JEWISH CONTRACT!!!
There were so many special touches to the day and almost everything went off without a hitch.  With all the planning and all the stress leading up to this one day, it would have been easy to forget what the day was truly about:

Just kidding.  Nobody really thought that.  Okay, maybe one person...
Molly.  It was Molly.
In all seriousness (which, by the way, I don't remember agreeing to) it was an amazing day and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

After we got back to Cleveland--Yeah, that's still a place--we took a Mini-Moon to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.

Editor's note/Disambiguation: Mini-Moon is a short honeymoon.  Not to be confused with a small person sans pants.
Mini-Mooners (Def. A)
Mini-Mooner (Def. B)

We did all of the traditional honeymoon stuff:
Play "Moose and the Mounty"

Enjoy sweet loving
and act out some long-harbored fantasies.

That's it for us.  But we'll be back soon with more blogging.

Lovers? That Word Bums Me Out Unless it Comes Between Meat and Pizza

So, a few weeks ago Nicholas and I decided to get some engagement photos taken by one of the ladies in my Bunko group.  The reasons for this were threefold:
  1. It seemed romantic
  2. We really love us some us
  3. It seemed important to get pictures of us as a couple that I didn't make by pasting the one good photo of my head onto photos of Nicholas with other people.

Yeah, I think it was time for us to get some new photos...

Below are the photos taken of us at Case's farm.  And in the event that you also love you some us, let us know if there are any of the photos that you like in particular and we'd be happy to have them printed for you.  Now, sit back and bask in my near inability to take a photo without laughing hysterically (Yeah, that ought to be fun come wedding day...)

Just thought we'd share.  Anyway, I'd love to stay and chat more but I'm pretty busy.  I've gotta summer job and, I don't want to brag, but I'm kind of a big deal.

It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.

Well, a lot has happened since we last wrote. Nicholas and I both finished our first semester of graduate school.  And then we got all of our grades.  That's right, Molly, ALL OF THEM!
Sad Molly.  Cry, cry.
After classes were over Dad came to visit us here in the Cleve.  We wanted to show him all of the exciting things that Cleveland has to offer.
Footage not found
When it turned out that there was nothing exciting to see in Cleveland, we took Dad to see the house from A Christmas Story.  Dad clearly enjoyed it and at no point tried to threaten us with a prop razor from the bathroom in order to make an escape.
Dad not threatening us.  Maniacal laugh! Maniacal laugh!
While we were at the house we got to meet the man who played Randy in the movie!

Can you still call it a "star-sighting" if the person is skulking around and begging you to take a picture with them?  It's sounds corny, but it was actually a fun way to kick off the holiday season...with joy, good cheer, and family.  And not once did we lose sight of what the holiday season is really about:

       PRESENTS!!!!

As you can see, I got the Hunger Games trilogy from Santa.  I read them all over break, much to the chagrin of anyone who was planning on actually talking to me during break.  I'm so glad that I finally got to read them.  Since Nicholas hasn't finished reading the last book, I won't say anything else about it...just that in the end it's all really just a dream that the protagonist is having.
Let's see, let's see...we got to spend some time with everyone in New Brighton and finally go home to Philadelphia.
But I think that's really everything important that happened over break.  Nicholas is telling me that I'm forgetting the most important thing...but I mentioned the Hunger Games!

Oh yeah, we also got engaged.

It's gonna be legend-... wait for it... and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of that word is DAIRY!

That's right folks, another legendary blog entry from the Cleve!  You know how new parents like to impress their friends and families by sharing anecdotes of the new words that their babies are saying?  Well, it's not like we're trying to one-up anyone...
...but I have little story of my own to share.  Nicholas has a new word: mitzvah.  The other day a woman stopped us on the street and asked to use Nicholas' cell phone to call her son.  After placing the call for her and successfully connecting mother and son, Nicholas proudly declared that he had done a mitzvah.  I'm really proud of his recent dedication to doing good works; so much so that I've been thinking of getting him a tzedakah box to keep in the house so that he can make more frequent contributions to the needy.
New tzedakah box
Perhaps the more impressive bit of news--not that my 29 year old learning new words isn't impressive--is that a week ago today we closed on our house.  That's right! We are now home owners.  I'll let the pictures do some of the talking for us.

Just a little taste to encourage each and every one of you to come visit (NOT ALL AT THE SAME TIME!).  We're ecstatic to have finally closed on the house.  We even had all of the other Case families on our street over to the house tonight to celebrate.  In case in you were wondering why the dining room table looked like it was listing under the weight of too much food in the photo...that's why.  Also, if you've ever wondered how you keep four children under the age of three entertained in a house with no toys, I now have the answer:

Oh my goodness! You guys will never believe the adorable thing Nicholas just did!

See?  I mean, does it get any cuter?

And in closing, I just want to say: remember how Nicholas and I always had four cats?  Yeah, well that's still true.
